CSA Basketball Academy all set to re-open

12 Jan 2015 by Coach Henfield

After 29 weeks and 1 day or 204 consecutive days of closure, CSA Basketball Academy is set to resume their academy training program on Saturday January 17, 2015 after securing a facility agreement this past weekend with the Anatol Rodgers High School to utilize their gym.

“It was a sad day when we learnt that we had to leave our previous training facility, but I must say that this past Friday was a great day when we were finally able to nail down a facility agreement to utilize the Anatol Rodgers Indoor Gym after almost 8 months of searching,” says Coach Marvin J. Henfield. “The gym is larger, has more basketball goals, has fixed seating and air conditioning, I’m excited,” exclaimed Henfield. “God does not make mistakes.”

CSA Basketball Academy is the Bahamas’ largest and most sophisticated year round basketball training program hosting almost 100 athletes during each 12 week semester with specialized training plans for each of their two academies. “We are ready to get back to business and we’re still accepting new applications for both of our Jr. and Sr. Academy”, says Henfield.
